The Club.
Every writer needs a writing critique group. One by one, these writing group friends found each other, and after many years of scrambling to submit words, pushing themselves to finish manuscripts before critique night, and generally riding the highs and lows of the writing profession together, they dubbed themselves a hot mess. Hence, the Hot Mess Writers Club.
Fun Fact #1
Several of the Hot Mess Writers have only met in person a few times. They keep in touch over email, Zoom, and Marco Polo.

The Hot Mess Writers are an international group with members located in Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, Ohio, Utah, and Canada.
Fun Fact #3
The Hot Mess Writers cover a range of genres: contemporary, fantasy, romance, magical realism, paranormal, historical fiction, and creative non-fiction.
